The Foundation favors giving in the communities in which the company, Paramount Builders, does most of its business: Tidewater (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk), Peninsula (Hampton, Newport News, York), Richmond-Midlothian and Northern Virginia (Fredericksburg).

The Paramount Builders Foundation desires to promote opportunities for a better future for the needy, as an expression of the love of God.
The Foundation strongly favors children and the families that bring them up, investing in things like adoption, crisis pregnancies, Christian education, youth activities and sports.
The Paramount Builders Foundation helps the needy in other ways: providing for emergency health care, housing repairs or other emergency situations caused by disease, crime, war or disasters.
The Foundation also partners with others who work to improve materially or spiritually the lives of the less fortunate in foreign lands. It does so by investing in missions and in strategic leadership development initiatives.
In addition to these three thrusts, children, the needy and missions, the Paramount Builders Foundation seeks to encourage others to give, fostering philanthropy by providing matching funds whenever feasible.
With the guidance of its Advisory Board, the principals look for unique opportunities to launch worthy efforts or make a substantial difference on a one-time basis.

The Paramount Builders Foundation sets aside $30,000 annually to match dollar-for-dollar gifts by its employees, contractors and vendors to bona-fide charities of the matching donor's choice.
An appeal to Paramount Builders' employees resulted in 72 contributions, which resulted in a $16,450 gift to a Disaster Relief Fund.
